L. M. Montgomery,  Lewis Carol, A.A. Milne, Frances Hodgson Burnett, and Roald Dahl  stories sparked a love of reading that began in childhood and continued to present day for author Liza Rana.  Harmonious stories weaving profound charachers situated in beautiful settings, whether the stories themselves were quiet and whimsical, such as Winnie the Pooh, or more dramatic and humorous such as Matilda; the depth of charachter building and the imaginative backdrops in which the charachter's lives played out lit a bit of a sparkle to create her own stories that unite characters and criss cross them throughout lands as their own adventures unfold.

Neil Gaiman and Ernest Hemingway's writing styles had an inspirational  influence on her writing journey.
